Experience and Credentials
I am a multidisciplinary counsellor, coach, practitioner and psychotherapist with more than two decades of practical, hands-on experience, including formative days spent as a university lecturer and a researcher in the psychological well-being field.
My holistic, integrative approach is founded upon Positive Psychology and the well-proven modalities of Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My experience extends to Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma-focused therapy, the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), the Gottman Method for couples therapy and counselling, and the Ackerman Relational Approach for issues related to sex, sexuality, and intimacy.
My holistic approach and an array of multifaceted, tailored therapies make my practice unique.
